Tea seed meal

Tea seed meal is the residue of tea seeds after camellia oil extraction. Tea seed meal is a natural pesticide, which is widely used for cleaning the pond and killing the snails, earthworm and other pests. Tea seed meal can be also used as a kind of high effective organic fertilizer.

APPLICATION

★  Cleaning Pond

As a green product, tea seed meal can decompose by itself, which brings no toxic residue, it is very safe for human to use .

◇  It can kill the unusable-fish, loach, tadpole, frog-spawn and other aquicolous insects

◇  It can accelerate the growth of aquatic-gross

◇  It can fasten the exuviation of shrimp and crab and never threaten them

★  Pesticide

It can kill the snail and other un-wanted pests in rice field.

★  Fertilizer

Tea seed meal is abundant in oarse proteins and other nutriments so it can fertilize the pond, and it is good for the propagation of planktons.

◇  Extensively used in rice field to kill apple snail, golden apple snail, amazonian snail (pomacea canaliculata spix)

◇  Extensively used in shrimp farming to eliminate predatory fishes in the fish and shrimp ponds. Help shrimps take off shell earlier and enhance the growth of it.Detoxify quickly in water and are not injurious to cattle and people who may use the water. Leave no cumulative adverse desdues, and it is readily available, economical to use

★ Usage and Dosage:

FOR AQUACULTURE USE:

For domestic shrimp and crab ponds, we used tea seed meal for ponds cleaning. Calculate as water 667 square meter with depth 1250px, the required usage is approximately 10kg. It is suggested to soak 100 kg of tea seed meal with 2 packs of salt and appropriate amount of water for about 10 hours, it must be soaked completely and evenly sprinkled into the water. Keep in mind that tea seed meal should not be used when the outdoor temperature exceeds 30℃ if have shrimp and crab in pond.Besides, if there are screw in crab pond, tea seed meal should not be used, because it will also kill the screw, but shrimp and crab will never to be killed. After using it 2-4 hours, fish will come out of the water.

FOR AGRICULTURE USE:

Tea seed cake and tea seed liquid have good stomach toxicity and contact toxicity effects on pests. They can be widely used in vegetables, rice, fruit trees, tea, flowers and other crops to control snails , leech, rice planthoppers, rice leafhoppers, sweet potato weevils and other pests.And also with features of no pollution, no residue, durable storage, long-term efficacy. However, saponin are toxic to fish and should not pollute fish ponds and other waters when used. In vegetable production, there are the following applications.

For snails control is crushed with 3-4 kg of tea seed cake, soaked in water for 8 hours, then filtrate is taken and sprayed with 50-75 kg of water. Mix with fertilizer to make base fertilizer, and control underground pests such as weevil, grub, mole cricket, etc. Used tea seed cake 15-20 kg/mu, grinding powder and soaking with water for 7 days, adding 50 kg/mu of plant ash, mix well, and use as base fertilizer before vegetable seedling or planting.

For crickets control by grinding tea seed cake directly into powder and applying basic fertilizer before sowing.

For snails and slugs prevention, crushing tea seed cake, wrapping it with double gauze, adding warm water according to the ratio of tea seed meal to water 1:4, soaking for half an hour, and kneading to make tea seed juice. After snail and slug were attached to leaves, dilute 500~1000 times tea seed juice, and spray on sunny or cloudy afternoon. In snail and slug occurrence season, only 2 times neccessary can be applied .

It can be used as an auxiliary synergist for pesticides. Adding tea seed meal extracts to pesticides can enhance the adhesion of pesticides on crops and insect pests, thus improving the control effect. Methods: Add 250-300 grams of leaching filtrate of tea seed meal to each 50 kg pesticides, mix well and spray. Tea seed meal extracts should not be mixed with acid pesticides. But adding it to quick-acting and endogenous pesticides can improve the killing effects. Attention that it must be used out as soon as possible and not suitable for long time storage after prepared .

In addition, spraying tea seed meal extracts on plants also had good control effects on aphids and red spiders. Earthworms are disadvantageous to seed emergence in vegetable seedling rearing and can be killed by tea seed liquid.
